If you are new and don’t have an A4 sized Art Journal that is fine, we will have Mixed Media A4 cardstock you can work on, you don’t need to work in a Journal, you can work on loose pages and put them in a ring binder for Storage.
Homework before Class
Paint 2 Consecutive Double Pages with White Gesso, in your art Journal.
If you do not have gesso, please arrive 15mins before class to gesso your page.
| Materials Included: | Printed Collage papers, Graffitti white embellishment, Napkins, 2 different designs, 6 x 6 Brick stencil, 6x6 brick stencil reverse, printed acetate, 8x8inch graffiti stencil, white embellishment quote. |
| Requirements: | Students to bring if you have the following: White Gesso, Dina Wakley Paints, Cheddar (mustard), elephant (grey), Rouge (pinky orange) Black, Tim Holtz Paints Cracking Campfire (redy brown) Dylusions Vannila Custard Paint or a Cream Paint Gel Medium (Dina Wakley Soft Gel) Matt Medium (very runny glue) Black archival ink pad and blending tool. Pallet knife or old credit card, paint brushes, Craft Knife, cutting mat, strong craft glue or Super Sticky Double Sided Tape (usually has red backing) Stabilo All Pencil Black (water soluble pencil), small script stamp, black small ink or paint pen, White Paint Pen thin, Black Paint Pen Thin. Scissors, blending brushes for inks, paint brush, baby wipes, Black ink pad archival or distress. Stamps, a script stamp, number stamp, grungy patterns or textures. Heat tool and non-stick craft mat, apron. |
