Finn Shadow Wings Workshop

Shadow Wings is a striking mixed media project built from multiple MDF circles that come together to form one bold, eye catching composition. The design plays with contrast — delicate florals against raw industrial elements — all anchored by a dramatic steampunk dragonfly or moth taking centre stage.

During the class, you’ll build intentional, dimensional layers using clock parts, gears, flowers, leaves, and other embellishments, combining them into a cohesive, grungy yet beautifully balanced composition. Finn will guide you step by step through the entire process, focusing on composition, layering, and a thoughtful approach to painting that enhances depth and brings every detail to life.

You’ll work with a wide range of innovative products from the Art Basics, Art Alchemy, and Art Extravagance lines, with plenty of room for personal interpretation. Multiple colour versions are possible, ensuring every student creates a piece that feels uniquely their own.
